Hi there! I am kissoffools, and this is my first Chocolate Box!! I'm super excited. :D

I'm requesting fic from 9 different canons - most of which I've requested in the past, and never received! Someday my fic will come, and all that. And there's a new request or two in here too, which should be fun. I tried to keep things simple, but hopefully there's enough information to run with it! Unfortunately, I never know how to prompt for art, so I haven't requested it. Though I do love it!

When it comes to likes, I'm totally on board with fics rated G all the way up to E. If you feel like writing porn, please, I would love that! (Anything with a little bit of dirty talk, praise kink, or overstimulation is right up my alley.) But I definitely don't need porny fic if it isn't your thing, either. A lot of the ships I'm requesting are best friends to lovers, which is my absolute favourite ship dynamic. Two people who care deeply about each other realizing that their feelings aren't so platonic, after all!!! The best. As for tropes, I love "woke up married", secretly dating, fake dating, unrequited love, soulbonding, road trips, codependence, and end of the world. So if my prompts below don't do much for you, you can run with one of these. Basically, I'd really just love something for any of these ships - make it cute, make it romantic, make it angsty, make it sexy... your call!

For the record, I have just a couple DNWs: noncon/rape, bloodplay, mpreg, and scat. I'm also not really into crossovers, crackfic, or non-canon character death. Avoid those things, and I'll be thrilled with whatever you come up with!

Okay, here we go! This will probably not be overly brief. Apologies in advance. Also, there will be spoilers here for these canons, in case you haven't finished consuming them. Just a head's up!

ANASTASIA (1997)
Dimitry | Dmitry/Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova

I fell in love with this movie when I saw it as a kid, and have rewatched it many times since and I love it just as much now. The characters! The music! The story! I think all of it is awesome. I'd love to know what happened after the movie, once Anastasia (or Anya, which still feels better to me for her to be called!) and Dimitry go off together. Do they settle somewhere? Travel Europe and have adventures? Return to Paris? What happens to them as Europe's political climate begins to shift in the 1930s? Does Anya do more to connect to her history, and how does Dimitry help her with that? Basically anything that contains their fun relationship dynamic will make me happy - I love Anya's fiery personality and the way she and Dimitry both annoy and admire each other. I'd love to see them bicker and tease each other and get on each others' nerves and be madly in love, all at the same time. Feel free to bring back characters from the movie - I loved them all! Also, I have seen the Broadway musical, and while it differs in some pretty major ways, you're welcome to incorporate some canon from that into the fic, too. But the movie is my favourite, so focusing on that would be ideal!

PROMPTS: Where do Anya and Dimitry wind up after the end of the movie? Do they stay in Europe? Do they settle down somewhere, or do they continue to travel? What happens to them in the 1930s and/or the 1940s, with the political climate shifting and the onset of WWII? Do they start a family, since that's something Anya's always wished she could have? Do they look into Dimitry's background and find out where he comes from, as well?

BOY MEETS WORLD
Eric Matthews/Jack Hunter
Boy Meets World was a big favourite of mine growing up! I love all of the characters so much. I really do think this is one of the shows that shaped me into who I am today - media like that is so special. I'd love fic about Eric and Jack - being roommates, getting through school together, graduating and handling the real world. I love the way that they didn't get along initially, but that they bonded and slowly came around to being absolute best friends. And I'd really like to see them fall in love!! Feel free to include whatever other characters you'd like, too - I love 'em all. Boy Meets World could be kind of wacky, but it also had a lot of heart. If you'd like to come up with a wacky way to get Eric and Jack together, go for it! (Don't worry about Girl Meets World canon - I've seen bits of the show, but you're more than welcome to include or disregard whatever you like from it.)

PROMPTS: What if Jack and Eric are trapped in an elevator together for a whole day? What if they're snowed in somewhere? What if their fight over Rachel winds up being more about each other than anything else? What if one of them is in love and pining and the other just doesn't seem to get any of the hints that get dropped? What if one of them is in danger, and the other has to rescue him?

BUZZFEED: THE TRY GUYS
Keith Habersberger/Zach Kornfeld
I absolutely adore the Try Guys - all four of them! Their videos never fail to cheer me up, and I love that they're all actually really good friends! I find them incredibly charming. Most of all, I love the dynamic between Keith and Zach. They have a lot in common, they're so good to each other, and hell, they aren't shy about saying that they love each other. What could be better than that?! Keith is goofy and big-hearted and personable, and Zach is neurotic and nerdy and sarcastic - they're really entertaining together. They get paired up in videos a lot, they hang out and go on lunch dates, and they're a little softer than the other two Try Guys. And my god, I want Keith/Zach. Please. I will happily take all the Keith/Zach! And you can absolutely include Ned and Eugene in the fic, too. Because it's hard to have two without the others! (For the record, I'd rather just hand-wave Becky's existence rather than have infidelity, because I love her, too. Or if you'd rather make Keith and Becky have an open thing so Keith and Zac are free to get together, too, that's cool with me!)

PROMPTS: Maybe you could take one of their video scenarios - baseball players, raising babies, drag queens, etc - and write an AU where they're actually those things! Zach and Keith as drag performers! Zach and Keith co-parenting a real baby and being totally in over their heads! Zach and Keith working at the same strip club! Or you could go tropey - maybe they wake up married after one of their trips to Vegas for a video! Or you could keep things simple and run with some unrequited love. What if Keith is the reason that Zach is perpetually single?

BUZZFEED: WORTH IT
Andrew Ilnyckyj/Steven Lim

Oh man, I love these two!! I've been watching Worth It ever since they started making them (actually, back when it used to briefly be Steven and Keith!), and I've always enjoyed the videos. But it wasn't until I went back and rewatched recently that I fell head over heels for the dynamic between Andrew and Steven - and oh man, I ship them so hard! Steven's excited, bouncy, upbeat personality next to Andrew's grumpy, punny schtick is just too good. And I especially love that Andrew plays grumpy and unwilling, but he grins at Steven too and you can tell that it's just an act and that the two of them are really close. I love that dynamic and I want to see them fall in love!! Steven came right out and mentioned having no experience with sex in the fried chicken video, and there are so many places you could run with that. Or just with Andrew being slowly but surely worn down by overeager Steven, who's maybe had a crush on him all along!

PROMPTS: Has Worth It really just been a giant ploy of Steven's to get Andrew to fall in love with him? Has each episode just been Steven taking Andrew on a bunch of dates? (I mean, look at them drinking wine in Australia. That shit is a date.) What about Steven is it that starts to get under Andrew's skin? How does Andrew start to fall for him? Does Steven's revelation that he doesn't have experience with sex get Andrew's mind working?

FALSETTOS - LAPINE/FINN
Whizzer Brown/Marvin

Oh, god, how I love Falsettos. I think the music is so catchy and so beautiful, and the show makes me laugh and cry. I just think it's a fantastic piece of theatre. And I love all seven characters - I love how all they're flawed and imperfect, but they're relatable, too. While I love everyone, the two I want explored this Chocolate Box are Marvin and Whizzer, and their relationship. I love the growth that Marvin and Whizzer show throughout the show - especially Marvin. I love that they're terrible for each other at first, and that they grow and learn how to have a healthy, loving relationship. I would especially love to read about their relationship between "The Baseball Game" and "More Racquetball" - that beautiful little period of time when things were good. I imagine that things weren't just perfect right off the bat - like with any set of exes getting back together, there had to be bad habits that they had to work to correct, and little backslides. I'd love to read about that! The moment during "What More Can I Say" is so loving and simple, and I want to watch them work to get to that point. I want to watch them fall in love for real, and all the ups and downs that entails! If you'd like to write this with a certain amount of bittersweetness - because of where it's all headed - please go for it! Maybe Marvin's reflecting back on it all after Whizzer is gone. I definitely don't need a Whizzer-Never-Dies fix-it, because one of the things I love about the show is how it deals with the real issues the gay community was dealing with at that time. So you can incorporate Whizzer's death or leave it alone and set the story before he starts to get sick - whichever appeals to you more!

PROMPTS: What does rebuilding a relationship look like for Marvin and Whizzer? How are they different to each other two years later, when they're getting back together? Does Whizzer move in right away, and does he start helping parent Jason, too? What sweet little moments of their relationship didn't we get to see, before Whizzer gets sick? What does Marvin do when he wants to take Whizzer out on a date night? What little things do they learn about each other now that they're falling in love for real?

FULLER HOUSE
Matt Harmon/Steve Hale
I grew up with Full House, and even though it's a super cheesy watch as an adult, I still love a lot of those characters. I was intrigued to see what they'd do with Fuller House once it was announced. And overall, I enjoy it! Sure, sometimes it's a little heavy-handed, but that's pretty consistent with the original. It's great to see where the characters wound up after all these years, and how their lives have changed. And this version of the show brought me something very important: the dynamic of Matt and Steve!! I care very little about their competition for DJ's affections, and I care very much about their bromance and how they wound up totally getting along! Matt and Steve's dynamic is such that if this were a different show, those two would totally wind up together. And that's what I want: the two of them falling in love the way the show will never actually give me!

PROMPTS: After Matt and Steve's accidental kiss in Season 1, Matt claims that the kiss was bad because he wasn't even trying. Do they try again? Does Matt want to prove to Steve that he's not a bad kisser, after all? And hey, at the beginning of Season 2, Matt and Steve both announce that they've found wonderful people to date. What if they announced that it was each other, just like Stephanie predicted? What if, when Steve calls off his wedding to CJ in Season 3, it's because he's realized he's in love with Matt, instead?

LEGALLY BLONDE - HACH/O'KEEFE/BENJAMIN
Emmett Forrest/Elle Woods

This musical has held a special place in my heart for years! I absolutely love how they adapted the movie into the show - Elle is still the girl with the wonderful heart and amazing character arc, and I love that they beefed up Emmett's role and made him more of a real character, too. I am dying for fic with Elle and Emmett! Their relationship in the musical is one of my favourites - they feel like a pair of people who are really falling for each other, which you don't always get with canon romances. I love that their relationship was born out of friendship, first and foremost! That Emmett was the only person at Harvard to treat Elle kindly, even though she was unusual to him... ah, my heart. I love that they both come from a background where they had to prove their worth, and that the show gives us little moments where they bond and grow closer. Most of all, I love that Emmett always lets Elle be her own person. He suggests things, or gives her ideas and nudges, but he never takes over and does things for her. And I love that Elle has things to teach him, too, and helps him change for the better as well. They're the best!

PROMPTS: What happens between Elle rejecting Warner's proposal and Elle proposing to Emmett? Two years pass during that time. Do they hit any snags as they transition from friendship to being a couple? What are the different milestones in their relationship like? Are there more instances where she teaches things to Emmett? I would love to watch her help him grow as a person, too. Also, hey, the show ends with a proposal! Which means there will be a WEDDING. Do I ever want to see Elle and Emmett planning their wedding! Is Elle all about the details, and Emmett has to keep reining her in because her ideas are too unrealistic? Or maybe Emmett gets so focused on every last little thing being perfect (so they get their money's worth?) and Elle has to get him to chill and not take things so seriously? What's a cake tasting like with the two of them?

NEIGHBORS | BAD NEIGHBOURS
Pete Regazolli/Teddy Sanders

I really, really enjoy these movies - especially the dynamic between Pete and Teddy! I love how deeply the two of them love each other - they are the best of friends, they're brothers, and they both take that so seriously. They were great in the first film, but somehow got even better in the sequel. And I'd love more about them! The sequel gave us so much - Pete being revealed as gay, Teddy growing up and working towards becoming an adult, Pete getting engaged and Teddy having to come to terms with it, Teddy finding a career for himself as a gay men's wedding planner. Seriously, everything about these two in this movie is amazing. Even though Pete's heading down the aisle at the end of the second film, I love how they're practically in love themselves. I'd love to see fic that works with the new canon that the sequel gave us! Especially Teddy planning Pete's wedding - or, hell, just Teddy planning gay weddings in general. I love that it's his calling and that all his clients totally want to bang him, and that's part of why it's all going so well. Basically, I just want to see these two falling in love and getting together (in the wake of Pete's wedding??)!

PROMPTS: Teddy is planning Pete's wedding! What if Teddy is secretly in love with Pete, and planning the wedding is eating him up inside? What if Pete starts to have second thoughts the closer his wedding date gets? How does Pete feel when he realizes that so many of Teddy's clients want to fuck him? Feel free to run wild with unrequited feelings, jealousy, infidelity if you want, accidental hookups, unknowingly falling in love, and pining - oh, I want so much pining for these two!

SMASH (TV)
Sam Strickland/Tom Levitt

The fact that Smash didn't let Tom and Sam be happy together is one of that show's greatest tragedies!!! Tom had all kinds of issues with relationships and commitment, and Sam was so good for him, I thought. Sam helped make him more grounded and honest, and he just felt real in a world of very heightened theater personalities. And if you ask me, Tom needed that! I loved their connection in Season 1, when they were flirting and helping to take care of Ivy and falling for each other. They were adorable. And then Tom ruined it. :( And then Tom was so excited when Sam came back in Season 2 - so excited he was ready to completely restructure Bombshell just so that Sam could be a part of it and he could stay in town!! But of course that couldn't happen, and everything just fell apart again. And my heart broke. And I would just really love to see fix-it for these two! Maybe they run into each other again a couple years later, at a bar or something, and they work on putting things back together. Or maybe Sam's return in Season 2 goes a lot differently than it did in the show. I really just want to see these two figure their shit out so that they can be together for real!

PROMPTS: What if Sam's return from the Book of Mormon tour went a lot differently than it did in canon? What if Tom missed Sam while he was away, and took a break from Bombshell to go out and visit him in whatever city his tour was in? What if they run into each other, some time later, and their feelings are still there?
