Dear Trick or Treat Author...

Hi there! I am kissoffools, and I am so excited about Trick or Treat this year!I love fic exchanges and Halloween, so this is right up my alley.

This year, I'm requesting fic from 7 different canons. I never know how to prompt for art, so I haven't requested it, though I do love it and would love art treats if you happen to be so inclined! I've tried to give prompts that are more general, and ones that work for shipping - I ship every single duo I've mentioned below, so if you ship it too, go for it! But honestly, if you write something that contains one of the characters I've asked for, I'm happy!

I've listed some prompts below for each canon, so go with whatever inspires you. Make them as trick-y or as treat-y as you like. Also, I love Halloween and autumn. Feel free to go as autumn- or Halloween-centric as you'd like. I'll eat it up!

Also, I'm totally on board with fics rated G all the way up to E. Whatever strikes your fancy. If you feel like writing smut, anything with a little bit of teasing, dirty talk, or overstimulation is right up my alley.

My DNWS: noncon/rape, vore, bloodplay, and scat. I'm also not into crossovers, crackfic, or non-canon character death. Avoid those things, and I'll be thrilled with whatever you come up with!

Ryan Bergara, Shane Madej
The Ghoul Boys are just the best. I love their ghost hunts and true crime investigations - I think they're hysterical together on their ghost hunts, but I really like the research and speculation they do when they deal with true crime cases. Those videos are probably my favourites. Their caring-yet-teasing dynamic is just the best - where they give each other shit but they have each others' backs. I'd love to keep that same dynamic in fic! Honestly, I'll take just about anything of the two of them doing their thing! And yes, I ship them if you're so inclined, but if not, just keep them as buddies! You're also welcome to bring in the Worth It boys, the Ladylike girls, or even the Try Guys to get them in on the ghost-hunting or true crime-investigating fun. I'm happy with tricks or treats here, so go for spooky or silly - either sounds great to me.

+ What if they stay overnight in a haunted house, like they have before, but something goes very wrong? A ghost steals their stuff, demonic possession, they wind up trapped...

+ Anything with Shane being skeptical and then something happening to prove him very, very wrong would be awesome. Especially if he's annoyed because he'll have to admit that Ryan was right all along!

+ What if the boys go to the scene of a murder, and wind up discovering a clue or stumbling into a very bad situation? (I'm thinking of the Keddie Cabin episode here as the basis for this idea...)

+ What if one of them turns out to have been a ghost all along?

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL
Chad Danforth, Ryan Evans
Listen - I shamelessly love the High School Musical movies. I think they are a ridiculous delight, and I'm always up for more fic with those characters. And I've shipped Ryan and Chad ever since they swapped outfits at the end of "I Don't Dance" in HSM2 (what was that about???!), so if you ship them too, then by all means! Ship away! Otherwise, just seeing them come to more of a friendship and an understanding of their differences and similarities is good with me. I'd love something Halloween-themed for this! Feel free to include as many other HSM characters as you'd like - I think they're all super fun and could be great side characters to Ryan and/or Chad's story!

+ What if one of them is trapped in a haunted house? Will the other save him? Or what if they're both trapped, and they have to learn to get along (or maybe more!) to escape?

+ What if Ryan and Sharpay decide to throw a Halloween party, and Chad and his basketball buddies crash it?

+ What if costume day for Halloween at school causes some confusion and feelings for the two of them?

+ Future fic! Ten years into the future, they're both out of college and living adult lives. What if they run into each other again? What happens? OR what if they're at a costume party in their late 20s, without knowing the other is there? What could possibly happen??

JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE
Alex Vreeke, Bethany Walker
Okay, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was such a surprising delight of a movie! i absolutely love going to see a movie, thinking it's not going to be very good, and winding up being totally won over by it all. Which is exactly what happened here! The characters are great, the story was fun and compelling, and the body-swapping - oh, the body-swapping! So much of it is ripe for fic, and I am here for that. This one is probably my only request that isn't very Halloween or monsters-focused, because I think there's so much that can be done with it without the added themed aspect. So please, take the characters and the world of Jumanji and run with them! Also, for the record, yes I super ship Bethany and Alex. Both in their real life forms and their video game forms. So if you do too, go nuts with it!

+ What if, after the game ends, Bethany accidentally gets sent back to 1996 with Alex? Or the reverse - the game ends, and Alex's teenage self is sent to the present with the rest of the group? How do they navigate the person-out-of-time situation?

+ Maybe the game doesn't have such a happy ending for everyone, and they're split up with some trapped and some sent home. How do the ones at home try to rescue the ones trapped?

+ What if they're all stuck in the game permanently, and they have to survive and adapt to Jumanji life - and their new bodies - forever?

+ What were Alex's feelings like for Bethany when they were all still in-game, in their characters' bodies?

+ Post-canon fic with Bethany still as a teenager and Alex older. I'm all good with some age difference and dubcon and infidelity in this case!

QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY RPF

I love these five men! I binge-watched the first season of QE the weekend it was first released, and have loved watching the rest of the world fall in love with these guys in the ensuing months, too. I think they have such a great dynamic - they're so funny with a lot of heart, and they all really do feel incredibly close. I'd love for that dynamic to be present in whatever story you feel like writing! You can write them all as BFFs, or you can ship Tan/Antoni for me if you're so inclined - I think they're adorable. (No cheating, please - just no mention of real life husbands/partners at all!) Tan and Antoni are my favourites, also, so if you need to pick one for a POV, either one of them would be awesome. Feel free to make any of these prompts as creepy or as funny as you like - I'm good for tricks or treats!

+ What if they show up to do a makeover, and the house and family are much, much creepier than any of them expected?

+ What if they're in town filming a regular episode, and the Fab Five start disappearing one by one?

+ What if one of them is bitten by a werewolf or a vampire, and they have to try and balance their new monster life with their production schedule?

+ Monsters Are Real AU! What if monsters are trying to integrate into society? How would Bobby redecorate a vampire's house? How would Jonathan groom a werewolf? How would Antoni help a zombie make simple, delicious meals from human flesh?

+ A pumpkin pie bakeoff. Like their episode of Nailed It!, but for pumpkin pies. I want to see the disasters.

Joel Hammond, Sheila Hammond
This show is just the best. The balance of humour and drama, the way they work in horror movie tropes and upend them... it's just so good. And the love that Joel and Sheila have for each other is one of my favourite parts of the whole thing. Joel as the long-suffering husband just trying to make his marriage work is everything to me! Honestly, I'd just love more of the show, period. Their whole dynamic and the whole town around them. Feel free to include Abby and Eric and anyone else, really, as much as you want! Tricks or treats here are all good with me. Just please don't kill off either of them or break them up!

+ How does Joel handle Sheila's weird zombie tendencies in even more unusual situations?

+ What if Sheila decides she wants a zombie mom group to hang out with?

+ This whole wife-being-a-zombie thing is pretty hard for Joel to take. Him cracking and carrying Gary The Zombie Head around to talk to all the time wouldn't be too far-fetched. How's that go for him?

+ Halloween at the Hammond household, now that Sheila's a zombie! Does she lean into the zombie thing and go all out? Do they decide to use Halloween as an excuse for a bloodbath, and pass the mess off as Halloween decorations?

+ The very very end of Season 2 - what if Anne actually does arrest them? How do they handle jail?

Randall Pearson
Randall Pearson is my absolute favourite Pearson! He has a huge heart and he means well even when he fucks up, and god, he's such a dork. But like in the very, very best of ways. His "Thanksgiving Dad" persona makes me want to see how he is on Halloween! We saw the one where he was ten years old, and the one where he and Beth had Tess, but there are like thirty-four more other Halloweens in this man's life. I want to see them! Feel free to include any and all Pearsons, no matter what decade you set the story in. I love this family. I'd prefer this one stay on maybe the more lighter, fun side - but if you have a trick idea that'll work for Randall, I'm up for it!

+ Halloween as a teenager! How did he celebrate, so soon after his dad died? Did he at all?

+ Halloween in college! Had he met Beth by then, or was he using parties and costumes to try and meet girls? How'd that go for him?

+ Halloween Dad! Now that he has both Tess and Annie, does he dress up and trick or treat with them? Do he and Beth deck out their house like crazy for trick or treaters? Is one of them super into it but the other isn't?

+ Alternately, Autumn Dad. Randall baking pumpkin pies and picking apples and being super into the season while his family just kind of smiles at him wearily. Basically, I want Seasonal, Dorky Randall!

TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE
Lara Jean Song-Covey, Peter Kavinsky
Fake dating became real dating! You know, normally I'm more into the best-friends-falling-in-love trope, but Lara Jean and Peter one hundred percent won me over and I totally fell for the two of them together. And now I want to see their actual relationship! I think they're such a good balance - him pulling her out of her shell, her getting him to be vulnerable. They're so goddamn cute together I can't stand it. It's the best. I'd love to see something where they have to tackle a problem together, or she has to face more of her fears! I'm just not interested in more drama with Gen. Been there, done that, you know? But more of Lara Jean's family is one hundred percent welcome. They're the best. Go sweet and romantic or spooky/scary - I'm up for both. Just please don't break them up!

+ How do Lara Jean and Peter spend Halloween? Surely he has some big costume party to go to. Does he drag her along? What do they dress up as?

+ Lara Jean and Peter doing autumn activities together! Hay rides, apple picking, pumpkin carving... I'm a sucker for hat stuff. Or maybe Lara Jean bakes pumpkin bread and Peter and Kitty act as her taste-testers!

+ What if Peter is exploring this old, haunted abandoned house and gets trapped, and Lara Jean has to face her fears and save him?

+ What if, at some point while they're together, they discover that one or the other has a terrible secret? (A monster, a serial killer?) How would their relationship survive/change?
